More about Milan

Best known for its art, culture, and fashion, as well as high-end hotels, restaurants, and shops, Milan is also home to Italy’s national stock exchange and is a major hub for finance, business, and innovation.

Excellent global connectivity combined with an incredible number of attractions concentrated within its small historic center make the city an excellent location for event planners and delegates.

Perfectly located for both international and domestic business meetings

Located in the center of Europe, Milan is easy for organizers and delegates to reach. Around 800 direct flights connect Milan to over 200 destinations around the world, while the Central Station is one of Europe's largest train hubs.

Milan’s main hub, Malpensa Airport is well connected to the city center, thanks to the high-speed Malpensa Express train. Two other international airports also serve the city: Linate, just 7 kilometers from the Duomo, and Orio al Serio.

The rail network serves three main stations: the Central Station, where Trenitalia runs national and international services, Garibaldi Station, and the Cadorna Station for local connections.
