Riga's Old Town and the Daugava River

Tallinn, a Photo-Friendly City

Tallinn isn’t short of beautiful, photogenic places. The Estonian capital’s skyline is filled with colorful and distinctive buildings including more than 20 churches. Vilnius, Off the Beaten Track

Green and historic, Vilnius is a true pleasure to discover. This off-the-beaten-track European capital has a stunning UNESCO World Heritage Old Town and attractive shops. The Hill of Three Crosses is one of the city’s most recognizable attractions, and these white crosses date from the 17th century, although the originals were destroyed during the Soviet occupation. Enjoy the splendid views from the summit, and get some shopping in, wandering along cobblestone streets such as Pilies Gatve (Castle Street), which is lined with stores selling amber jewelry and linen.
