Zakopane is 85 kilometers south of Kraków and can be reached by car or bus in 2-3 hours or train in 3-4 hours. There are flights to Kraków's international airport from 63 cities throughout 20 European countries, and most of the flights are direct. 

It is also possible to reach Zakopane by flying to Poprad-Tatry Airport in Slovakia, about 70 kilometers south of the city. Poprad-Tatry Airport offers direct flights to London-Luton Airport.
