More about Poznań

As the host city of the Poznań International Fair – the biggest industrial fair in Poland and one of the largest fairs in Europe – Poznań has everything that organizers need to plan a successful event.

In addition to plenty of conference hotels and venues, Poznań is a picturesque city rich with history and impressive architecture, so there is plenty for delegates to discover in between meetings.

Perfectly located for both international and domestic business meetings

Poznan-Ławica International Airport is just 7 kilometers from the city center. It provides multiple continental connections with major airline hubs, enabling delegates to travel to Poznan conveniently from any place in the world.

Poznan’s regular flight schedule includes direct connections with 30 cities in Europe and Asia, including Frankfurt, Munich, Copenhagen, Warsaw, London, Barcelona, Madrid, Stockholm, and Oslo.

Poznan also connects to most cities in Poland, as well as the neighboring countries by an extensive train route network. Daily connections from other European cities are also available.

Things to do with your group

  • Explore Poznan’s beautiful Old Market Square, boasting stunning merchant buildings, art houses, and lovely fountain statues on every corner.
  • Join the crowds gathering outside Poznan’s impressive Town Hall, on the Old Market Square, where at 12 pm daily, two mechanical billy goats appear and lock horns.
  • Head to the 100-year-old Poznan Palm House, a complex of 12 pavilions growing 1100 plant species and home to fish, snakes, and iguanas.
  • Lake Maltanskie (“Malta”), just 2 kilometers from the city center, offers an array of water sports, a year-round ski slope with ski lifts, and a toboggan run.
  • Art lovers should visit the imperial-looking National Museum, which has Beach in Pourville, the only painting by impressionist artist Claude Monet in any Polish collection, among the many pieces on show.
