By rail, the Thalys, Eurostar, ICE, and TGV high-speed trains will get you from the neighboring countries to the center of Leuven in just several hours. International trains arrive in Brussels-South or in Liège. From there, you can take a national train to Leuven, which takes around 25 minutes.
