Bilbao International Airport is located 12 kilometers north of the city center. As the largest airport in the Basque Country, it offers more than 600 flights weekly, including direct flights to 18 destinations within Spain and major hubs across Europe, such as Berlin, London, Dublin, Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Rome, and Brussels. The airport bus service connects the airport to the city center in just 20 minutes. 

A network of railway lines converges in Bilbao. This, together with its excellent motorways and dual carriageways, makes land transport a good option too. 

The city’s impressive Metro service, designed by architect Norman Foster, provides an easy and fast way to move around the city.
