More about Berlin

Berlin is a cosmopolitan hot spot, renowned for its extraordinary variety of attractions and vibrant cultural scene.

The vast array of meeting venues in Berlin, combined with its creative vibe and efficient service makes it an incredibly popular choice for event organizers. Everyone finds something to their taste in the German capital, which is what makes Berlin such a great place to meet.

Perfectly located for both international and domestic business events

Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt opened in late 2020, about 20 kilometers southeast of the center of the German capital, with connections to 183 destinations. The easiest way from the capital is on the dedicated double-deck FEX trains that depart twice an hour from Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station), taking around half an hour. But a wide range of other trains, including fast InterCity services, also serve the airport. Once in the city, it’s easy to get around Berlin’s comprehensive and efficient public transport system, which consists of the U-Bahn (subway, underground), the S-Bahn (light rail), buses, and trams.

Things to do with your group

  • Immerse yourself in the city’s unique history – walk along remnants of the Berlin Wall, visit Checkpoint Charlie, or stand in the very room where the Holocaust was planned.
  • Berlin is famed for its graffiti and street art. Why not create an urban artwork together with your group during a creative workshop?
  • Combine a tour of the city with teambuilding on a Trabant Rally behind the wheel of the classic East German car.
  • Sail down the River Spree, which winds through the city center, taking in sights such as the Reichstag, TV Tower, and Berlin Cathedral.
  • Head to Museum Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s home to three famous museums - the Pergamon, the Altes, and the Bode.
