Beitostølen has its own mountain priest, Norway's first. The Chapel of Lights and the mountain priest were started with the initiative of Steinar Hovi, after seeing many small chapels while he was a ski instructor in Austria. Beitostølen is easily accessible by car or bus from Oslo in just under 3.5 hours. We work closely with bus companies and can help you organize shuttles to bring your guests right to our door. This way, the journey is a part of the event, the entire party can travel together in their own bus.

We can even help you arrange your ceremony on the top of Bitihorn, at 1,607 meters or in the incredible Chapel of Lights. The bridal party on horseback and sleigh between the wedding ceremony and the hotel is like something out of a movie.
