Kigali Genocide Memorial

Kigali genocide memorial centre is a place for remembrance and learning. It is the final resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, it honors the memory of the more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994. It is located in Gisozi, ten-minutes' drive from the center of the town. Being the burial place, the memorial was also founded to inform about the genocide, document the reports of its witnesses, and support the survivors.
