Just a stone's throw from Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport and with easy access to public transport (bus stop right in front of the hotel by the beach and surface metro stop at the back). this hotel offers an impressive view of the blue Mediterranean Sea (so blue it looks like Gatorade) and the Promenade des Anglais. It's a renovated hotel with a swimming pool on the terrace and a rooftop (where you can have a drink at the end of the day) or even dinner (but we'll talk about that later).

Start your day with a stroll along the iconic Promenade des Anglais!

The Promenade des Anglais is a pedestrian promenade that stretches for 7 km from the airport in the west to the headland in the east, along the beach and the Mediterranean Sea.

Today, it's a great place to stroll that's very popular with families, joggers, cyclists, skaters and other in-line skaters. When you walk here, you can enjoy the fresh waterfront air and increase your daily step count while chatting with friends/family and people-watching and even watching the sunset.

Visit the old town

Nice's Old Town, Vieux Nice, is a charming and picturesque area to explore! Its narrow streets are lined with beautiful pastel-colored buildings and pretty wooden shutters that give it a simple and beautiful feel (typical of the French Riviera). As you wander around, you'll stumble across some stores to get lost in, pretty churches, vibrant public squares, cafés and delicious patisseries.

Don't miss the morning market (Selaya Market) where the colorful striped awnings catch the eye of everyone passing by. Here you can buy flowers, traditional sweets and fresh fruits. You could easily spend a few hours here, and you'll see why it's one of the best things to do in Nice!

Eat like a local

A great way to discover a new destination is to try the local cuisine! If you want to try the best dishes in Nice as a foodie, you have to visit the Lu Fran Calin restaurant. The food is extremely delicious and you can try a selection of local appetizers to share. As a main course, I highly recommend the potato gnocchi in Gorgonzola sauce.

Discover Local Gems

Discover Florian, Nice's best-known and oldest confectionery/chocolaterie. Here you can buy candied fruit, sweets and chocolates. You can, and should, also book a guided tour of the factory. You'll be melted by the master chocolatiers making the famous hand-painted chocolate bars and see how amazing it is to create sweets. And best of all, you can taste them afterwards.

Make your own perfume

At Molinard perfumery you can create your own fragrance. Here, you will experience a wide range of essences and select your favorites (beware that your nose will get a bit dizzy!). Once chosen, a master perfumer will assist you in refining your selection and crafting your unique scent. The best part of this experience is that you will use the dropper to make it yourself. After, you'll receive a token and you can ask for your custom scent again at any store, isn't that amazing?

Castle hill

Your visit cannot be complete without experiencing the wonderful view from Castle Hill. Here you have 2 options: either face the stairs that look like a lot from afar, but actually aren't!, or take the elevator (it's free to access). Once atop, you'll enjoy a panoramic 360-degree view of the whole city, and you can cool off with a refreshing splash from the waterfall.
