Always wanted to see the iconic Minnesota symbol of the cherry on the spoon? You're in luck! This historic site is just a short walk or Nice Ride away from Radisson Blu Minneapolis Downtown. Officially known as Spoonbridge & Cherry, the sculpture is located in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, a delightful 11 acre park at the Walker Art Center. Explore the treasure filled garden's more than 40 works of art, or play a game of outdoor mini-golf while taking in great views of downtown Minneapolis. The Sculpture Garden is a romantic, fun place to have a photo shoot, picnic, or a simple stroll through the garden.

Like any top foodie city across the country, an influx of food trucks will pop up, and there is no shortage of them in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Time to indulge in a mid-afternoon snack! Monday through Friday, local food trucks line up on Marquette Avenue in downtown Minneapolis and serve nearly any type of food you can imagine. Nothing says summer quite like classic outdoor baseball, and Target Field is a fabulous venue to take in a game. The 39,000 seat open-air stadium debuted in 2010, is LEED Silver certified, hosts concerts for major recording artists like Paul McCartney and Kenny Chesney, and even hosted the Major League Baseball All Star Game in 2014. This state-of-the-art facility is home to the Minnesota Twins where you have 81 chances to catch a game at the ball park starting between April and September. The only bad seats at Target Field are the ones you don't have.

Hop on the local Metro Transit and head over to St. Paul for one of the city's most coveted gems, Como Park Zoo & Conservatory. This warm weather attraction has a bit of everything. You'll be sure to entertain the kids here with the zoo's very own amusement park called Como Town and of course the incredible animals that call Como Zoo home. Don't forget to check out the breathtaking gardens and greenhouses that inhabit the remarkable conservatory, established in 1915, celebrating 100 years this year! There is no admission fee for Como Park Zoo & Conservatory but donations are always welcome.
