Our list starts with the island's top zoo and botanic experience, Palmitos Park. This rugged, cactus-filled canyon will take you back in to the glory days of the American cowboy, and is guaranteed to lighten your spirit. 5. Wet and Wild at Lago Oasis Waterpark

Grab your swimwear, sunglasses, sunscreen and step inside Lago Oasis Waterpark – you won't regret it! As the only waterpark in Gran Canaria featuring sea water, you're in for a one of a kind experience. Race your friends down the slides, feel the thrill of the watery roller coaster or play a game of mini-golf while on a break from the water. Whatever you fancy you'll find it at Lago Oasis.
