Midnight sun adventures in Northern Norway

So, what is this midnight sun? During the summer months, the sun never dips beyond the horizon. The period you will be most likely to experience this phenomenon is from May 20 to July 22. If you enjoy spending the day on the green, nothing beats playing well into the night. The course at Tromsø Golf Club is a quick 35-minute drive from the city, leaving you lots of time to enjoy the fairway.

If you choose to explore the Norwegian wilderness during the night, there is a good chance you will get to see some of the incredible wildlife, paired with the gorgeous sunset and sunrise. Take one of the tours by Tromsø Villmarkssenter, just 25 minutes from Tromsø. They offer a wide range of activities and tours for visitors but the highlight for many is the 300 Alaskan huskies on location. The dogs are sled dogs during the winter and tour partners during the summer.
