Like Nikkei, ISSEI is the fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cultures. You can see examples of that combined energy in every aspect of our restaurant, from the food to the bold Peruvian-style architecture with Japanese design elements. The result is a free-flowing, natural space with simplistic shapes and harmony reminiscent of a home built from the land and sea.

Amazing drinks and service
2026-01-08
Very lovely place, although bar was closed for private event, staff members accommodated us with big smiles in main restaurant. Although we only had drinks, Svetlana was most accommodating and provided amazing hospitality skills.
Our friend joined later on for quick bite as well and Svetlana was so nice with with explaining options that would work for our friend. Definitely professional and has strong knowledge of their product, she can definitely sell the dream 🤩
I would say worth visit and checking out the place yourself. Cocktails are also so nice and have very compels taste to them.

Discover a fusion of Japanese & Peruvian cuisines at ISSEI Tallinn
The Japanese and Peruvians love fresh fish, and this is the foundation of Nikkei cuisine. Just as the Japanese traversed the sea to work on the land, our cuisine is inspired by a blend of ingredients from the ocean and those grown in the Peruvian earth.
