Like Nikkei, ISSEI is the fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cultures. You can see examples of that combined energy in every aspect of our restaurant, from the food to the bold Peruvian-style architecture with Japanese design elements. The result is a free-flowing, natural space with simplistic shapes and harmony reminiscent of a home built from the land and sea.

Stopped by Issei in Tallinn for a few drinks and ended up having a really great time definitely a 5/5 experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and stylish, and the drinks were well-made. I also want to give a special thanks to Baiba T, Ksenia T, Rachel S, Maria K, and Maarja P for being so friendly and attentive the whole time. The service and vibe made it a really enjoyable stop. Would happily come back again.

Discover a fusion of Japanese & Peruvian cuisines at ISSEI Tallinn
The Japanese and Peruvians love fresh fish, and this is the foundation of Nikkei cuisine. Just as the Japanese traversed the sea to work on the land, our cuisine is inspired by a blend of ingredients from the ocean and those grown in the Peruvian earth.
