It is part of the Cour des Loges hotel, which is extremely high quality. The restaurant matches that quality. Prices are not very high for what you get. There is a lovely outdoor dining area along the pedestrian street. If you're at the hotel, you can even arrive to the restaurant via interior corridors without going outside. Service was a bit harried because they seemed understaffed but they still took care of our needs. Food was great, well executed and imaginative. We saw a real chef. I think the food has some things in common with the hotel's other restaurant that has a Michelin star. Le Comptoir when we arrived 7:30 was relatively empty but by 8:30 it was full outdoors (nice evening in late September). If weather is good, do try to sit outside. Le Comptoir deserves a place in your Lyon dining plans for its high quality proposal, regardless if you are staying at the attached Cour des Loges hotel or not! If you are staying nearby, the restaurant is up to par with other experiences in the area.
