Nicknamed the "Manchester of Finland," Tampere was once Finland's industrial center and continues to flourish with business and leisure movement. Nearby lakes and cultural attractions deliver a nice mix of activity just outside the Radisson Blu. Guests can take a stroll to Tampere Cathedral followed by some shopping and exhibits at Vapriikki museum center down by the scenic Tammerkoski. For some family-friendly fun, visit Särkänniemi amusement park or try flyboarding on the lake. Perhaps you'll get lucky and also get to see the northern lights that flash year round above this area.
Nestled between Lake Näsijärvi and Lake Pyhäjärvi, Tampere carries a rich history and now thrives as a cultural center offering visitors ample opportunity to engage in sightseeing and recreation. Our hotel sits along the banks of the Tammerkoski rapids which connects the two lakes in the oldest industrial area of Finland. Guests enjoy proximity to popular attractions such as the Vapriikki museum center while also being close to local transportation. The railway and bus stations are less than a kilometer from the hotel, and taxi service is readily available. Guests wishing to explore the capital can take the train and arrive in Helsinki in 1.5 hours.
The hotel provides 8 parking spaces available for a fee of EUR 3 per hour or EUR 18 per day. The spaces are available on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved in advance. Just 200 meters from the hotel is the Frenckell parking garage, which offers a special parking fee of EUR 21 per day for hotel guests. To receive the special rate, simply show your parking coupon from the garage to our hotel reception when you make your payment.
From Tampere-Pirkkala Airport
Take the bus 1A towards Vatiala, and exit at Koskipuisto D station. From there, walk 450 meters to arrive at the hotel.
By car:Take the fastest route via E12, and arrive at the hotel in approx. 24 minutes.
From Tampereen Rautatieasema(Railway Station)
Walk 750 meters via Rautatienkatu and Satakunnankatu to arrive at the hotel in less than 10 minutes.
By bus:Take bus number 32 from towards Tampella. Travel 5 stops and exit at Lapintie 2. From there, walk about 95 meters to arrive at the hotel.
By car:Take the fastest route via Rautatienkatu and Satakunnankatu, and arrive at the hotel in approx. 4 minutes.
