Upon arrival at Velana International Airport (MLE), our dedicated airport representatives will warmly welcome you and assist with check-in for your seaplane transfer. You will then be escorted to the seaplane terminal, where you can relax in the shared VIP lounge, offering complimentary refreshments, Wi-Fi, and shower facilities. 

Please note that the typical waiting time for seaplane transfers is approximately 2 hours from check-in and may vary depending on international flight schedules and weather conditions. 

• Flight Duration: 30–45 minutes 

• Operating Hours: 

    • Arrivals: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM (international flight arrival time)

    • Departures: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM (international flight departure time) 

• Stops: Some flights may make short stops at nearby resorts along the way to Radisson Blu Resort Maldives. 

• Transfer Fee: USD 990.00 net per person (round trip) 

Guests are required to share their international flight details at least 5 days prior to arrival to ensure timely arrangements. Seaplane schedules are operated by a third party and are finalized one day prior to travel, subject to weather conditions and international flight timings. 

Seaplane Baggage Allowance: 

• 20 kg checked luggage + 5 kg hand luggage per person (age 2 and above) 

• No baggage allowance for infants 

• Excess baggage: USD 5.00++ per kg, payable at check-in 

• Maximum baggage dimensions: 158 cm linear, 32 kg per item

Upon arrival at Velana International Airport, our airport representatives will guide you to the Domestic Terminal for check-in. The typical waiting time is approximately 2 hours, depending on flight schedules and weather conditions. 

• Domestic Flight Duration: 30 minutes

• Arrival Airport: Villa Airport Maamigili (VAM) 

• Upon arrival, our Front Office team will escort you to the speedboat for a short 15-minute transfer to Radisson Blu Resort Maldives. 

• Transfer Fee: USD 1,200.00 net per person (round trip)

Domestic Flight Baggage Allowance: 

• 20 kg checked luggage + 5 kg hand luggage per person (age 2 and above) 

• No baggage allowance for infants 

• Excess baggage: USD 5.00 per kg, payable at the check-in counter

For guests who prefer to travel by sea, a private speedboat transfer is available from Velana International Airport to Radisson Blu Resort Maldives. Upon arrival in the Maldives, our airport representatives will greet you and escort you directly to the waiting speedboat.

• Transfer Duration: Approximately 4.5 hours 

• Operating Hours: 

    • Arrivals: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (international flight arrival time) 

• Transfer Fee: USD 4,500.00 net (one-way)
