Built through the mountains and along the coastline, the island's scenic roads make the hotel easy to reach from Las Palmas Airport, either by taxi or public transportation. All of the island's destinations are easily accessible from our resort in Gran Canaria, with the farthest attraction being located about an hour away by car. Driving along the island's scenic costal-highways you are able to enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean, while also being able to explore the art, culture and food hidden in the several small towns nestled along the water's edge. Known for having one of the best climates in the world, visitors have the chance to enjoy outdoor activities all year long, both on land and in the water. The warm Atlantic Ocean is home to a variety of species of tropical fish that swim around the region's volcanic gorges, making this island's waters an ideal area for adventurous scuba divers. The protected area and diving zone off of Las Canteras beach, located right outside the island's capital of Las Palmas, is one of the most popular destinations for diving. The majority of the island's pristine beaches are located on the southern half of the island, next to our family friendly hotel.
The western coast is the ideal place for any adventure-seekers looking to climb to the Pico de Las Nieves, the highest peak of the island. Other popular hiking outposts in the mountains include the Mirador Caldera de los Marteles and the Mirador del Pico de los Pozos de la Nieve, which can be accessed by car. The mountain trails and nature preserves right outside of the Radisson Blu Resort, offer hikers and bikers plenty of scenic escapades.
While there are plenty of outdoor activities to try, there is an equal amount of stores to stroll through downtown. The open-air shopping environments at Las Terrazas Shopping Center and El Mirador Shopping Center serve as cultural hubs with entertainment both day and night.
How to get to the Radisson Blu Resort, Gran Canaria
Our waterfront hotel located in the town of Arguineguin is a lush retreat situated on the island's gentle shoreline. The hotel's seaside location puts you right by the water and close to local amenities, such as restaurants, cafes, shops, and nature preserves.
With almost 60 beaches on the island, Gran Canaria's coast has plenty to offer. Closely located, find Playa del Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles to soak up some rays on the beach and take a short walk to the island's historic lighthouse. If you are looking to skip the sand, the Lago Oasis Waterpark is only 10 minutes away.
The island's capital of Las Palmas is a one-hour drive from our hotel, offering modern conveniences while preserving the charm of the island's Spanish history. Along the coastal drive to the capital, the architecture of buildings like the Cathedral de Santa Ana in the Plaza de Santa Ana Madrid and Iglesia de Santa Lucia will make you want to pull off the highway to explore the enchanting streets. From Gran Canaria Airport
Line 91 of Global Bus offers direct service from the Gran Canaria Airport to Arguineguin. Exit the bus at Patalavaca stop, which is a 400-meter (5-minute) walk to the hotel's main entrance. To board the bus at the airport, locate the exit on the 1st floor designated for "Departures." Buses depart approximately every hour from 06:15 to 21:15 daily.By taxi:

From the Gran Canaria Airport, drive towards the GC-1 motorway in direction to Maspalomas-Puerto Rico. Take Exit 56 on the right to Arguineguin. From there, drive 3km along the GC-500 road, and then drive straight through the next 3 roundabouts. After you pass through the 3rd roundabout in the town of Patalavaca, continue to travel an additional 150 meters until you reach the hotel, which is on the left side of the road.
