Radisson Blu Hotel, Mannheim

You have to wait at the door a bit to be seated, but you don’t wait long at all. My friend and I asked if we could sit outside on the terrace, and the incredibly friendly staff accommodated our request immediately and helped us get a great spot. The terrace and the overall ambiance are simply fantastic. Although we went in the evening after dark, the vibe and the atmosphere were still amazing. I can only imagine how breathtaking it must be to watch the sunset from up here. The music added the perfect touch to the vibe, and the staff remained super friendly and attentive throughout the entire night. The drinks menu is huge! literally several pages long and packed with all kinds of cocktails. This isn't your classic bar where you'd just order a standard Aperol Spritz or a Hugo; they focus on their own special house cocktails that they mix themselves. With over 100+ options, the selection is massive. However, if you have a very specific taste and nothing on the menu catches your eye, they are extremely flexible and will happily mix a custom drink tailored exactly to your preference. If you get hungry, you can also order some finger food, like fries and similar snacks. The cocktails are on the pricier side (15€+), but they are absolutely worth every penny considering the quality, the high-end venue, and the premium experience. This place operates on a really high level. The Roof Bar is understandably very popular, but if I ever find myself in Mannheim again, I am definitely coming back! Highly recommend!
