Great View, Not Cheap

2019-09-25Well, it is Norway, you say.
Three of us were staying at the Radisson Blu and decided to take in the view and have a drink before heading out to dinner. The view from the top floor bar at the Blu is great, a panoramic outlook over the old and the industrial harbours.
We were served pretty quickly upon getting out of the elevator. The only food offerings were pizza and snacks, so we opted for snacks since we were going for diner later. 39kr for a small bowl of nuts, right?
We ordered drinks (Glemt Fender beer, Ginger Joe and a cocktail). The beer choices were good, lots of local and small brewery items, and the cocktail choices met my wife's approval.
As I said, service was fine, the beer was good and the view spectacular.
