Can’t fault anything. Staff very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff left little gifts if you hung a little bag on your door to say you didn’t need your room cleaned which was so cute and a great incentive - who needs their room cleaned every day? Excellent location, within walking distance to the main square, local market, bars & restaurants and to local transport.

Great location with a very welcoming and professional team. I was kindly upgraded to Room 621, which had a lovely view overlooking the Castle (arrived late in the evening). The room was comfortable and I especially appreciated being able to open the window for fresh air — something not all hotels offer these days. Breakfast was buffet-style with an excellent choice of high-quality options. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I would happily return.

Brilliant location, right on the edge of the Old Town so a short walk to the main square, the river and the castle. The park round the old town makes a great route to go running. Room was very comfortable and clean. As a VIP member I received an upgrade which was nice and the Reception staff recognised my status. Breakfast was great - wide choice of food available. If you time it wrong it can be busy but I was always able to find a table. Dinner is available in the bar and was very tasty.

Lovely hotel, excellent location 5 minutes walk from main square. Helpful staff, great breakfast. We booked a superior room which had a nice view of the park directly opposite. Hotel had a nice feel about it, rooms were nice (although hot) and beds comfortable. There was a nice bar to sit in-although not cheap. Took us about 20/25 minutes from Airport. We used Bobs Taxis-he was brilliant and very reliable. Would highly recommend and return to this hotel.

Amazing experience. I stayed last week with my wife from the 22nd to 27th March, in room 613, an amazing Junior suite looking over the park and towards to castle too. Check in was very easy and the lady explained the hotel facilities to us. With my Premium status I was so lucky to be upgraded from my Superior old town view room to this beauty. (I understand 413 is similar but 613 has a better view being higher) The room was extremely spacious with a large king bed, approx 6 foot as a guide for fellow UK travellers. Great size bathroom too, only one word of advice would be to use the shower over the bath as opposed to the separate main shower, when using the main shower water escapes all over the floor through the 2 inch gap between the bottom of the screen and the floor - unless we both missed a trick. However not a major issue using the other. Excellent large towels provided. Turndown service on most nights. The bar area in the hotel was very pleasant, enjoyed sitting there planning our next day. Great selection of drinks available. And lovely staff in the bar. Also we had breakfast, which was buffet style. Plenty of fresh juices, pastries, meats, fruit and hot items. Bacon on request but came out quickly. They also had a few options made to order e.g. omelette, or scrambled eggs with say spinach. No extra charge for them. Breakfast staff were great, one person seemed allocated to clearing tables and another re-setting them, so quite efficient. I did note each day the hotel General manager came to the Breakfast area and made sure all was as it should be, even though she does not know me in person. That to me was nice to see. All in all highly recommended, and we miss it already! Thank you to all staff!
