Incentive ideas in Oslo
Oslo is full of adventures. Since our hotel is located in between the city center and Oslo Airport, we are fortunate to have Østmarka wilderness area as our neighbor. Enjoy cross-country skiing in the winter or a hike in the summer in Østmarka. Take the metro to the city center to visit the Munch Museum for an artistic experience, or enjoy the beautiful Norwegian National Opera & Ballet. There are many more activities in and around Oslo to choose from.
For more information, ask the hotel staff.
Østmarka wilderness area
The forest region Østmarka in eastern Oslo covers 256 square kilometers. It differs from the other forests around Oslo, mainly because of bedrock formations created 200–1500 million years ago. The vegetation here is more open with mostly pine forest.
In Østmarka, you will find recreation opportunities all year round. During the winter, there are prepared, red-marked ski trails and some of them are illuminated in evenings. In the summer, you can find nice, blue-marked tracks for hiking, biking routes and idyllic lakes for swimming.
Mathallen food hall
Indoor food market where you can purchase high-quality products from Norwegian small-scale producers as well as special foreign imports. This is a great place to go grocery shopping or just trying new type of food. There are over 20 restaurants located at Mathallen.
The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet
Oslo's opera house is located right at the harbor with an angled, white exterior that appears to rise from the water. It invites its visitors to climb its roof and enjoy panoramic views of Oslo and the fjord all-year-round. The opera house is designed by the Norwegian architecture firm Snøhetta and has received several prestigious awards.
Designed and built to provide maximum flexibility, high-tech solutions are an integral part of the experience at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Conference Center, Oslo Alna. The 1,800 square meters of event space offer solutions adaptable to meet the needs of any kind of event.
The building has a highly specialized energy system making the venue greener than green. An advanced data system is set to control all heating and cooling. The system calculates how much airflow is needed for a set temperature based on number of meeting delegates, as well, as how much energy will be required by the facility in the coming hours.
