Our first evening in Amsterdam so managed to walk the 50m from our hotel and how lucky we were? Down a side street and seemingly in a business building we were treated to a sumptuous meal with excellent service. Starters were shrimp cocktail and a stuffed mushroom. We both chose the steak bavette and they were cooked to perfection and we loved the fries and mayonnaise so loved in these parts. Would recommend definitely even if your walk to find it is many times more than 50m!
