Excelente ubicación. Un buen desayuno con variedad y muy buen servicio, los camareros eran todos muy atentos y serviciales. Gigdem destacaba por su amabilidad y atenciones al cliente. Desde luego lo mejor que tiene este hotel es el personal. Volveríamos de nuevo solo por el trato que recibimos. El relacionas publicas, Aziz, fue informativo, servicial y amable todos los días, fue todo un ejemplo para los jóvenes del equipo, Enes Can, y Meric quienes eran la amabilidad personificada. Gracias también a Serwet, en la recepción, Cansu en el restaurante y Songul, nuestra camarera de pisos, vaya mujer, feliz en su trabajo, con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja cada mañana, un amor!! El que nos recibió al llegar fue Shams, el jefe de recepción. Un hombre servicial, profesional, y muy divertido, otro gran ejemplo para sus ayudantes y una gran imagen para el hotel. Gracias por una estància inmejorable. We loved our stay in this hotel. The breakfast was varied with lots of local produce on offer, which is just what we were looking for. Gigdem, thanks for everything. The staff are most definitely what set this hotel apart, as Istanbul is full of good hotels. We would return solely for the exceptional customer service. On arrival we were received by Shams, he completely won us over with his warmth. He was a mine of information and he made us feel welcome every single day of the week we spent there. The guest relations manager, Aziz, what a great guy, offering so much local knowledge, he is a wealth of information, and nothing was too much trouble. I hope management appreciate both him and Shams as they are both a credit to the company, they set a great example for the younger staff members to follow. Thanks also to Serwet, Enes Can and Meric, you all made a difference to our stay with your kindness and prefessionality. What an exceptional front of house team!! Thanks also to Songul our charming and attentive cleaner. Keep doing what you are doing guys, you are a credit to your company. We will be back and I highly recommend this hotel to fellow travellers.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at the Royan Hotel Hagia Sophia after meeting up with family and enjoying this wonderful place. From the minute you arrive to departure, the staff provide a really excellent and warm service and are the rock of this hotel. Every one of them is a credit to the Hagia Sofia and their knowledge and high level of support that they give is exceptional. A special thanks to Aziz for his sound advice and assistance whenever needed. A big thank you also to the amazing housekeeping staff and the lovely lady who looked after us in room 209 and the lovely designs that she did each day. The hotel is a lovely size and beautifully decorated throughout with some amazing art work. It has a lovely restaurant with a good menu should you wish to dine at the hotel. There is also a raft of restaurants nearby and always worth asking with the staff for advice. The location of the hotel is perfect for seeing some of the fabulous sites nearby and although hilly, you can get to many areas on foot. We did the Bosphorus boat trip which we booked through the hotel which was very good and highly recommended and a good opportunity to see so many landmarks plus an hour over in Asia. The hop on hop off bus tours, of which we tend to do in every city we visit, is not recommended as there tends to be a lot of gaps in between places of interest and together with the heavy traffic around Istanbul made it not ideal. The hotel staff give you lots of ideas of what to see and it is definitely recommended in speaking to them for advice – they did not recommend the Bus tour and it proved to be right. Overall, a wonderful stay at this hotel and its amazing staff and most definitely highly recommended for your stay in Istanbul and you won’t be disappointed.

The hotel is small, cozy and very beautiful. Inside you will see old city walls in the lobby bar, drawings on the walls inside the courtyard, beautiful view from the breakfast balcony. But the most important thing about the hotel is the staff. It is the best service I have ever seen. I had a lot of questions. All of them were answered via WhatsApp. When the plane was rescheduled, the staff helped reschedule my transfer time and reservation. It was very nice to see two towel swans and a rose in the room after cleaning. This happened on my wife and I's anniversary and we didn't tell anyone about it. It was a nice coincidence. The hotel itself is in a very convenient location. Of course, you will have to go up or down slopes all the time, but this is Istanbul - there are slopes everywhere. But the hotel is 5 minutes away from two of the most important mosques in Istanbul. Thank you very much for a great time at the hotel. Now I really want to come back here.

It is a while since I have travelled, and I was a little nervous as to what my experience would be but I have to say that the staff at the Royan Hagia Sofia Istanbul completely made my holiday. Their attention to detail , along with their kindness, and professionalism was truly excellent . From the bedroom cleaning staff, to the concierge at breakfast, to the bell boys who took our bags to our rooms, to the Reception staff on the front desk, the whole team seemed to wrap themselves around myself and friends to ensure we had the best possible experience. I also noted their efforts with all guests also, whoever they were and however those guests responded to them - a truly professional team . Thank you so much for a wonderful experience .

The room excellent, the staff outstanding, the breakfest was good, the surroundings are quiet and nice. Easy acess to Blue mosque and all the sight to see. And we would like to come back. Michael and Anja
