We stayed at this hotel for five nights for a conference. It is beautiful and all the staff we encountered were very kind and helpful. Due to a flight delay, we didn’t check in until after midnight. Still had a good experience at the check-in desk. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times for breakfast as it was included with the conference, and it was very good. There are lots of servers who come around to clear your table often. We also went to the bar on the first floor, one time and to the sky bar. Both were lovely and offered a decent variety of drinks and good prices.
We had a basic room with a king bed. It is not overly spacious, and as someone has said, there are no drawers to put clothes in, but we didn’t need them. There are two closets, a refrigerator, a safe and plenty of coffee and tea service. Bathroom is nice with a beautiful shower, one sink.
We both went to the spa a couple of times we each got a manicure and a facial. It is probably the best service I have ever received especially for the price. I would say services are about 1/2 of what they cost in the United States. All the staff there were very kind and accommodating.
The location is good although there is a lot of construction around. There is a mall next door that has everything you need - not fine dining, just basics. The hotel is a good location to walk across the bridge over the river to the old part of town and experience all the history in this town. It is amazing and I would suggest making sure you go to all the must see attractions. You can also walk along the river but it is much more interesting to get into the city.
I would stay here again if I ever am lucky enough to come back!
