We went to the cabana club for the spa and it was an amazing experience. Special shoutout to Trish, she was excellent. Would highly recommend.
With an enforced stay of 12 days in Doha due the conflict in the Gulf. I can recommend this hotel as a perfect place to stay (albeit in better times). The staff were all welcoming from the cleaners to the management with a special shout out to Aflah on reception, who made the stay less stressful. The food was lovely with a great variety (perfect puddings). The room assigned to us was large and comfortable and more than adequate for our stay. We will be back once conflict is over, to explore the rest of Qatar.
We were in transit when the war with Iran began, so it was far from the best start to our journey. However, the Qatari Government and Qatar Airways arranged for us to stay at this wonderful hotel during the 12 days we were stranded in Doha, and we are incredibly grateful for that. We will definitely make sure we return one day. The staff throughout the hotel were calm, efficient, and genuinely friendly, and they took care of our every need. Despite it being Ramadan, the dining room team were exceptional. The food and service were outstanding, and every member of the team went above and beyond. From the concierge team to housekeeping, security, reception, and management, everyone looked after us in the best possible way. We truly couldn’t have been cared for better.
My husband and I were stranded in Doha for a week starting March 28, 2026, and were accommodated at this hotel by Qatar Airways. As avid travelers, we have stayed in many excellent hotels across North America. But this experience was truly special. We witnessed the missile attacks and interceptions for the first time in our life and it was quite unnerving experience. What stood out most during this time was the warmth, courtesy, and professionalism of the hotel staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable during those times. Their calm demeanor and smiling faces reassured us that we were safe and well cared for. During one of our regular on the premises, one of the staffs from the other building came out and politely requested us with folded hands to walk inside the hotel lobby since there was a threat. It was the gesture that touched our heart. During the initial days, when we were little desperate to get back home, one staff smilingly told us "Stay a little longer with us and relax. You will go home soon." That personal touch meant more than words can express. Room service was par excellence! The last but not the least, we thoroughly enjoyed the most delicious and wide variety of buffet. The food was just amazing and the desserts were hard to resist. We loved the pastries, crème brûlée, Umm Ali, mousse to name a few. My husband and I used to joke, that while the Govt. of Qatar is diligently protecting us from the missiles and drones, Hotel Radissson Blu might overwhelm us with its generous hospitality and abundance of food!. Thank you to Radisson Blu and the Government of Qatar for your outstanding care and hospitality. We hope peace is restored soon, and we would love to return to Doha and stay with you again. We were fortunate to enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour arranged by your concierge, and we look forward to coming back to explore even more. With love from Canada.
I stayed at the Radisson Blue Doha for from March 1 through March 7 while Qatar Airspace was closed down due to the war in Iran. In spite of the hotel being filled to capacity with stranded passengers, the hotel staff went out of their way to make everyone’s stay as pleasant as possible. My lovely room was spotless, the public rooms very pleasant and the food delicious. However, what impressed me the most was the extraordinary concern and kindness of the staff. I thank you from all my heart!
