Oslo is full of adventures. Since our hotel is located in between the city center and Oslo Airport, we are fortunate to have Østmarka wilderness area as our neighbor. Enjoy cross-country skiing in the winter or a hike in the summer in Østmarka. Take the metro to the city center to visit the Munch Museum for an artistic experience, or enjoy the beautiful Norwegian National Opera & Ballet. There are many more activities in and around Oslo to choose from.

The forest region Østmarka in eastern Oslo covers 256 square kilometers. It differs from the other forests around Oslo, mainly because of bedrock formations created 200–1500 million years ago. The vegetation here is more open with mostly pine forest.
In Østmarka, you will find recreation opportunities all year round. During the winter, there are prepared, red-marked ski trails and some of them are illuminated in evenings. In the summer, you can find nice, blue-marked tracks for hiking, biking routes and idyllic lakes for swimming.
