We found the Radisson Blu in Bremen to be an excellent hotel for the two nights we stayed. The room was large, well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. It had a Nespresso machine, a wall-mounted TV with a fully adjustable arm, and a good shower. The staff was helpful and friendly, with strong English language skills. The location is amazing if you're visiting the old town -- it's literally adjacent to Böttcherstraße (if you don't know what that is, look it up, because you'll be going there while in Bremen).
The buffet-style breakfast was absolutely OUTSTANDING. Don't skip it.
The only quibbles we have are to do with the room ventilation. The A/C did not seem to work well at all, and while the weather wasn't too hot while we were there, this might be a real problem at other times. Fortunately, the windows swing open very, very wide, using a rather antique hook-and-eye system to hold the windows in place when they're open. One of the windows needed the "eye" replaced, and couldn't be secured. Still, the design allowed us to get all the fresh air we could want. As in much of Europe, there are no window screens, so you might have troubles at times where there are lots of mosquitoes or other insects, but I want to emphasize that no hotel we've stayed at in Europe has had window screens.
Overall, this hotel is a great value and made for a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended, and if we swing through Bremen again, we'll definitely book a room here.
