Trains are an important, sustainable, mostly punctual and pretty much always scenic mean of travel in Switzerland. No matter if you plan to arrive or depart from Andermatt by train (2 hours to Zurich with the Treno Gottardo) or are seeking a spectacular day excursion from the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen, trains offer you the perfect mode of transport. We recommend the historic steam train up the old Furka train tracks with the “Furka Dampfbahn”, the iconic Glacier Express or a quick trip to a different canton with Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn or Treno Gottardo.
