The Residence, a Private Hire Venue in Marylebone

Comprising five creative and versatile spaces that can be booked out separately, The Residence at Holmes has been designed around the ethos and etiquette of the historic townhouses above, whilst also reflecting the playfulness and mystery that surrounds our famous fictional occupant.

Guests have the option of hiring out The Residence as one complete venue for exclusive use, with an additional five event spaces within Holmes Hotel available to choose from. London venues for hire don’t come much better.

The Conservatory
Featuring a large open skylight to the private courtyard above, The Conservatory is flooded with natural daylight, and suitable for any meeting or private dinner party. With its brick walls, stylish plants and unique lighting design, The Conservatory is a bright and open space ideal for boardroom meetings, private dinners and drinks receptions.

The Laboratory
The Laboratory is both playful and functional; featuring a 65-inch interactive screen, as well as wipeable walls for planning and writing on, it’s the perfect room for brainstorming ideas, meetings and workshops. Decorated with vintage and antique scientific equipment, as well as bespoke artwork inspired by Conan Doyle’s letters and mystery solving artifacts, The Laboratory adds a unique and immersive element to any meeting.

The Billiard Room
Down in The Billiard Room, our antique wooden meeting table unveils a hidden gem as it can be transformed into a full-fledged bar billiard table. Featuring unique wallpaper depicting extinct animals, this room can be booked out for meetings, as well as a breakout space to play pool or snooker. A uniquely playful space, The Billiard Room also features scoreboards and cues alongside an obligatory brandy and whiskey drinks cabinet.

The Cellar
Perfect for private dinners, small meetings or intimate wine tastings, The Cellar is a warm and cosy panelled room featuring claret red walls and its very own wine cabinet. This space creates an elegant yet informal setting for any private gathering.

The Pantry
A beautiful contemporary home kitchen with everything you need to host your meeting breakout or private party. The Pantry features handpicked marble cabinets with matching counter tops, high kitchen stools, fully-stocked snack drawers and a premium wine fridge with still and sparkling water on tap. Keep an eye out for the antique clocks that give a touch of Mrs Hudson’s kitchen described in the Sherlock Holmes novels. The Pantry is available as a breakout space, or for private hire, including the options of hosting cocktail master classes and cookery workshops.
