The Holmes was perfect for my weekend visit to London. The staff was extremely helpful my room was perfect for one person, and the location is ideal - on a very quiet street, but only two blocks to Baker Street and the tube station. This was my first stay at the Holmes, but it won’t be my last.

The Holmes Hotel has first class service in all areas of hotel hospitality. To start, Tyler, the front desk receptionist, greets one with friendliness and a willingness to resolve any concerns (theater, restaurant, transportation) you may have. His commitment to help weary travelers is most gratifying. When in the restaurant, Glen, the maître d', orchestrates engaging conversation with efficient service. He is the consummate host-you won’t find better. Visiting the bar, one will experience one of the unsung heroes of the Holmes Hotel: Solomon. This gentleman quietly personifies the hotel’s top priority of customer satisfaction-kudos. These gentlemen, along with all the other staff, made our six-day stay the treat of a lifetime. We are anxious to return and are informing our friends that the Holmes Hotel is the perfect place to stay in London.

The hotel is in an ideal location for Oxford Street & all transport services. The Hotel itself is amazing. The staff. especially Tyler on the front desk was extremely attentive and we both would like to say a huge thank you and we will no doubt see you again in February

We have stayed in multiple hotels all over the world and this one is a stand out. The hotel staff are brilliant at the front desk (shoutout Sanjay) and the kitchen, and cleaning staff are also brilliant. It is one of the most comfortable hotels I’ve stayed in. Beautiful linen and towels, free water, tea coffee and sweets, and also a well equipped gym and sauna! The location is also fantastic. Couldn’t ask for more. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you for having us - this hotel made our London stay perfect.

As ever really lovely service in the bar. Very welcoming and attentive. I have stayed many times over the years and Kostas always finds a moment to say hello and ask how things are going. This time was no exception…
