London eye and the cruises get very busy in the afternoon probably better to go earlier in the morning (Angie M)
Everything is within walking distance so no need for buses. The bus tours are long. We found it easier to walk or catch the tube.(Paula g)

My second stay at the Park Plaza County Hall and again the location and atmosphere was perfect for my needs over my birthday weekend. From the excellent welcome from Jaan at reception, great service to quickly sort a loose connection on the Room TV and good food with great clean rooms, it was a lovely quiet stay with all the necessary amenities available and more!. The view from the 12th floor across London was excellent as the sun rose. Sadly you cannot guarantee an early check in, even with paying the extra £30 to get there from midday, but Jaan was very nice about it and helpful. Bags left at reception meant my appointment was still possible, just not as refreshed as I could have been. Thanks for a good stay, see you next time in Feb.

We had the most amazing welcome from Jaan and nothing was too much trouble, even a mattress topper was provided for a light sleeper! We hope to return again soon

Perfect location since everything was within walking distance. We booked the room with the London eye view. It was incredible. The bar food was pretty good. The tikka misala is a must try. The staff was awesome as well especially Lisbeth. We told her that it was our first time in London. We came back to our room with a box of snacks. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely faultless stay at this hotel which is in a great location a short stroll from Waterloo Underground and right on the embankment. My room was huge with a separate kitchenette and seating area, very clean and bathroom had large shower and a bath with good quality complimentary cosmetics not supplied in tiny little plastic wasting packaging. I was also impressed with the incentive this hotel has adopted of offering a little gift if you chose not to utilise housekeeping. Great idea as I would imagine many visitors are there for a short stay and don’t require housekeeping for short durations. However anything you needed would be provided to the point where the polite and attentive staff seemed quite disconcerted that I would go down and ask for little things I had run out of ( eg tea bags) rather than pressing 0 and having them delivered. I didn’t have breakfast but could see the breakfast area from the glass lifts and it looked very appetising. There was also complimentary fruit and water provided in reception and bottled water in the room. I visit London frequently and this will definitely be my hotel of choice for future visits.
