Seems to be a quite neighbourhood, but staying in one of the upper floors never hurts(wisenetizen)
Use the tram to get into Bordeaux centre- 5 euros for a 24 hour ticket. This also included water taxi and bus.(Samantha B)
Google maps says 9 min from the main train station but in reality is more like 2min.(arturz214)
Write a mail before leaving to request a quiet room ,we did and recieved a reply within the hour ,and had two perfectly situated rooms..(newyorkfreak61)

"Great hotel, in a business district right next to the main railway station"

Stayed here for one night in September while on our way to the Pyrenees. The hotel was a really great location for a one night stay while travelling, right on the doorstep of the railway station for trains to/from Paris, and right next to hire car rental offices. The hotel is relatively new, clean, well appointed and good value. Its in a business district next to the station so outside the central tourist areas but its only a short walk to shops and restaurants, and a 20-30 minute walk to the centre, or a 5 min metro ride.

"Great place for our visit to Bordeaux"

This location was perfect for our 10 days in Bordeaux. It's not in the center of town, but close to St Jean train station. The tram system is very easy, just a couple minutes walk from the hotel and we were quickly taken anywhere we were headed in town. Being close to the train station was great for our arrival from Paris and our day trips to Arcachon, St Emilion... The bed was very comfortable. The hotel and rooms very clean. The room quiet - you don't hear any outside noise at all. The staff were friendly and helpful. Be aware that all the information you need is available with the QR code on your card carrier - unless you know this, you'll be looking elsewhere for information that is easily available and complete - menus, safe, Internet, etc. We didn't have breakfast there but did have some evening meals and snacks, which were good. The odd thing was that if you ordered a dish again on another day, it never the same as what we ordered the time before, often quite different - this included salad, ice cream, charcuterie and cheese plates.

"Clean, quiet and comfortable."

10 minutes walk from the station.. there is a back entrance to the station but we couldn’t find it from inside the station! Close to a tram stop and easy access to main sights. Nice staff. Very quiet room on sixth floor (617!) and comfy big bed and pillows.

"Good hotel and convenient location"

Excellent location. If coming by train, the hotel is very near, you can easily walk. Access to the city centre is easy with nearby metro stop. Good size room for a hotel on in Europe, it’s clean and well maintained. Friendly reception staff. Would definitely stay there again.

Very convenient Clean Nice bathroom Very nice staff very helpful Thank you Charline Good transport nearby to reach center Very clear directions from reception desk to find out what to visit and how to get there I came from abroad and landed by plane at Bordeaux airport From there i took the shuttle for Gare Saint Jean central railway and walked through hall 3 in the station to reach the hotel in 4 mn
