Radisson Hotel President Old Town Istanbul - TripAdvisor traveler rating

As a solo female traveler, I can say I’m 100% happy with the hotel experience. The reception staff and restaurant staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe. The one incident is worth sharing. I was dining at the terrace restaurant, when this drunk man (not a hotel guest, he was a restaurant guest) kept bothering me, coming up to my table and asking me to go drink with him and his friend. I was trying to be polite but firm. But that woman was extremely incessantly bothering me. I was visibly uncomfortable. The restaurant staff noticed it and asked me if they can help me. I explained them the situation and they very professionally removed those men from the premises, escorted by security staff. I feel very grateful as my safety and privacy were maintained and respected. The staff are exceptional and I’d definitely go back again. Thank you for making my stay and experience so wonderful.

visited Radisson Blu and President hotels for five nights. Excellent staff, cafes and restaurant, especially beautiful view from the terrace remained in my memory. It's okay at the pub, and further down the street, hmmm...

Everything about this hotel is fabulous especially the staff Kayra Azim an Aydin. The area great for shopping food excellent service restaurants gorgeous. Be back soon . Grand bazaar close by 5mins . Fabulous area

Perfect located to see all the main landmarks of Istanbul - Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque etc. Tram station two minutes away. Excellent view of marmaris from sixth and seven floor. Friendly staff always ready to help with. Superb choices of food in breakfast.

We have just stayed three wonderful nights in this hotel and I must say we have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The hotel is situated within walking distance of all the main sights. Tram stop is only a couple of minutes away. First if all the staff on reception were very welcoming. We had booked a superior room which was spacious with a settee and relaxing area. The bed and pillows were excellent. The breakfast buffet had lots of choice and staff available fir special requests and the view over the Marmaris was an added bonus. The rooftop restaurant was spectacular with panoramic views of the city. We ate there on one night and the meal was splendid and the staff very friendly and attentive. Our stay was only two full days and we wanted to see as much as possible so we asked the guest relations if we could hire a guide for one day. They found us Benjamin. What a gem! A true gentleman, curteous and very knowledgeable. The second day we took a 90 minute cruise on the Bosphorus. 300 lira which was great value. It was the first company on the quay as the Bosphorus is on the right. Each night on returning to the hotel we went into the Old English pub i the reception of the hotel. We were greeted with Mehmet who made the best Mojitos we have tasted. Everywhere in the pub was clean and tidy and he took great care and attention when making and serving the drinks. Top marks! In conclusion we think this is an excellent hotel situated perfectly to explore the sights of Istanbul.
