We love Radisson hotels and this was no exception. We were lucky enough to be staying in the Penthouse Suite for our 2 day stay. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the wrap around balcony was lovely especially in the sunshine. The staff were exceptionally friendly and ready to help you with anything. A big shout out to Dimitris (both of them) Janina and Maria. If we ever come back to Athens we will stay here. Thank you
This was the most perfect stay in every way. The Social Athens hotel is a boutique hotel tucked away in a fashionable district within easy walking distance of everywhere I wanted to visit. I stayed about five days and every single person on staff during my stay was incredibly friendly and committed to helping guests get the best out of our stay. There is a restaurant on site and you can get delicious food a la carte at the restaurant or order room service from the restaurant/enjoy the breakfast buffet for hotel guests in the mornings. My room was modern yet completely comfortable, very clean, great water pressure in the shower (random but something I very much appreciate!). I highly recommend.
Friendly and helpful staff, clean and tidy. Everyone lovely, especially Janina! The atmosphere is calm and relaxed. Peaceful, no city noise keeping us up. The room is spacious, bathroom clean and power shower. The location is ideal to explore Athens - acropolis, upscale shopping, plaka for local food and drink and shopping, monastiraki, syntagma square, close to metro station. Breakfast was tasty and healthy. Vegan options too! Thank you
I had been in touch with the hotel staff with a number of questions before we arrived in Athens. The staff was so helpful: Janina, Artemis and Dimitris were so friendly and helpful with making arrangements for a transfer and also for a reservation to a local restaurant. We had made the reservation six months before our arrival, and the cost for an upgraded room seemed reasonable to us. Our room was spectacular. It was a suite with a separate sitting area and a bedroom. The towels were so plush and the bathroom was really nice. We enjoyed the breakfast too. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a beautiful property that is centrally located, and walkable to all the major tourist attractions.
Sweet little boutique hotel close to all of the tourist sites but tucked away in Kolonaki. We so enjoyed this location. I was thinking about staying at a larger full service hotel with views of the Acropolis but the penthouse suite at the Social looked really special and was half the price. The penthouse suite is super comfortable - it has the entire 7th floor to itself with a huge wrap around terrace. We enjoyed chilling out up there after long days of touring. No Acropolis view but a nice view of Likavitou. Staff were beyond kind - totally charming and could not have been more helpful. The last night we canceled our dinner plans and just wanted to stay local in Kolonaki. The staff suggested an upscale but classic Greek place four mjnutrd away with nice Greek fare and lovely service with good atmosphere. It was a perfect last night in Athens. Really nice to hit Athens in early May - warm (but not too warm) and cool at night. Would come back to the Social in a heart beat ! Thanks for having us!!
