We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade on arrival from two to three bedroom apartment. Meant each of my adult sons had their own room and didn't have to share a bed. Nice! Apartment was spacious and well equipped. We had an external entrance to the apartment units, separate from hotel entrance. One of the hook sets in a bedroom was pulling away from the wall, we did not use it. Each room was equipped with chair and open hanging space, but not really any surface space to layout luggage, nor any drawers or shelves to unpack. We really enjoyed the large family room with comfortable couches, sitting chairs that we used nightly for after dinner family time. I really don't know how Europeans shower without getting water all over the bathroom. This shower was really nicely appointed, however the shower door covered only half the space, and the shower water sprayed beyond the square floor, and poured into the rest of the bathroom floor. We had to put towels down to stop the flow of water and encourage it to flow to the drain. We were on the sixth floor, with a balcony, that had a peakaboo view of historic Bryggens...really nice! Location was fabulous for getting everywhere we wanted to go and see. The elevator worked, but was tiny, barely fit three with luggage or 4 without luggage, and one morning it was full of cleaning supplies cart so we had to use stairs to get to ground floor. The breakfast was also fabulous. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at Magic and would choose it again.

Loved our stay at this gem of a hotel! It ticked all our boxes - a great location for easily walking to attractions, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, incredible value for money, very clean. We liked the fun, modern scandi design of the room (though usb sockets would be an extra plus) and it’s definitely worth paying a little extra for a harbour view with a terrace. Our room on the 6th floor was amazing - spacious terrace with the most beautiful view to wake up to with a cuppa and to chill with a glass of wine on an evening, mesmerised by all the pretty Bergen lights. Having a kettle in the room was a plus too for us. The roof top garden terrace wasn’t open when we stayed (low season) but I should imagine it has great views in the summer. From the moment we booked (you will get the best deal if you book direct), correspondence was quick, friendly, helpful, as staff answered my questions. We will definitely want to stay here again when visiting Bergen. Thank you Team Magic Kloverhuset!

Comfortable friendly in the centre of everything on the harbour Thomas and Ramsey so helpful

Matilda made checking in a real pleasure and made sure we had a room with an amazing view of the harbor. Dinner was a wonderful experience and the atmosphere was beautiful. Breakfast buffet had a good selection. Matilda helped us again at checkout and arranged a taxi to the cruise ship.

We have the MOST wonderful stay at Magic in Bergen! Nora at the front desk could not have been more welcoming or kind. She went above and beyond for us during our stay. The rooms were super clean and well appointed. The breakfast the next morning was so good and the views of the water were amazing. We left a bag filled with clothes at the hotel and they are even mailing them back to us. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.
