I’ve stayed in this hotel several times since Covid. I see huge improvements in the hotel including amenities. Service has always been good.

During our recent trip to Manipur, we stayed at Classic Grande by Radisson in Imphal. Unfortunately, my wife fell ill with a severe cough and cold due to the sudden change in weather and had to remain in bed for three days. Yet, true to Radisson’s hallmark hospitality, the housekeeping and room-service staff went out of their way to care for her. They even prepared a traditional local hot drink—kaadha made with ginger and lemon—which she found wonderfully soothing. The room itself was spacious, airy, and comfortable, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. While I enjoyed basking in the sun by the swimming pool, the hotel team ensured my wife was well looked after. This thoughtful courtesy extended to the restaurant as well. On our request, they prepared a special Manipuri Thali for us, and we were absolutely delighted—not just by the flavors, but by the artistry of its presentation. The curry dishes served in banana-leaf bowls shaped like boats were particularly striking, a sight I have rarely encountered elsewhere. From Sonia, Ovia, Princy, Surphy, Pinky, Bidiya, Reena, to Dind, every staff member greeted us with warmth and eagerness to serve, always accompanied by a genuine smile. Their kindness and attentiveness made our stay truly memorable.

Hotel Classic is like my second home. I like the decor the comfort and by far I personally think this ka the best hotel in Imphal city to stay.
