Our room, a one-bedroom suite, was a good size and had everything we needed. The bed was huge and very comfortable (relatively firm but that's our preference). The bathroom also ticked every box for us. Breakfast was excellent, with a cheerful greeting from the staff putting us on the right foot to start our day; the food was fresh and tasty with a huge selection. It was busy, but there was a lot of space and with multiple places to get each type of food / drink there was essentially no wait for anything. The location is okay. It's in what felt like a safe neighborhood, a 10 min walk from the metro and 20 minutes from the S-Bahn (and the zoo!). We walked into the city centre via Tiergarten and even at a leisurely pace it was only about 45 mins to Brandenburg Gate. Potsdamer Platz was about 30 mins. The road outside is busy but you can't hear it inside the rooms. The only downside really is that it's a bit awkward to get to if you arrive late at night after the U-Bahn stops running, since the night buses are infrequent and 20 mins is a long walk at night (especially with luggage). Overall I would strongly recommend Hotel Berlin to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

Good hotel close to local Ubahn station for getting around Berlin and the airport. Hotel looked a little tired outside, but is splendid inside. Nice gym, great breakfasts, clean and cosy room. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Within 10 minutes walk for a large range of different restaurants if you refer to eat out.

Lovely Hotel right in the heart of Berlin. Very clean with very friendly, polite staff. Would definitely stay there again should I visit Berlin again.

Although its facade is a little dated inside the hotel is modern, light, airy and comfortable with lots of inviting seating areas. Superior double room had plenty of space, and the breakfast was excellent, with lots of room to sit in series of clean, light, attractive spaces.
