Accommodation was good and central to York. Hotel was clean parking is available next to the hotel would be good if you reserve parking.

The Radisson is located really central with a 5 min walk over a choice of two bridges into the city centre. With a river view room you have the Minster in full view which was lovely to wake up to. We were upgraded to a superior room which had robes, slippers, ironing board etc. hairdryer was a normal plug in so no fighting with the switch, large flat screen tv, comfy bed with USB points each side and an expresso coffee machine. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and there is secure parking. If there is a down side , it is a little dated but clean, and it can be noisy from the pub the other side of the river, however the windows close and knock out at least 90% and the aircon is good. Breakfast was good and well organised. Recommended

I originally booked to stay at another hotel in York, but changed my booking to this one because their rooms were of a better price. And I am so glad I made that decision as I loved this hotel. It was in a very convenient location that was only a short walk away from the train station and the staff were very welcoming. Especially when I tried to check in using the online kiosk which confused me. Thankfully the nice lady at the desk helped me out regarding that without any major issue and the room was very comfortable. Plus the hotel was in a very good location with many bars and restaurants nearby. So I would certainly recommend staying here.

This hotel is within easy walking of all major attractions and shops and restaurants It’s so quiet here And the room was so clean and bed was very comfortable Bathroom very nice Breakfast very good too

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Kettle, fridge, ironing board and hairdryer in the room. Bed was really big, slept well. Breakfast was excellent as was the location. Parking too. Definitely recommend staying here.
