Radisson Hotel & Suites Zurich - TripAdvisor traveler rating

Stayed here for a couple of days. It’s a tram ride about 20 minutes from Zurich HB. Very convenient to the city center. Room is modern, big and had everything. I was actually pleasantly surprised. I typically stay at only 5 star hotels but chose this because I was only passing through Zurich on my way to Italy. It’s a great room for such a budget friendly price. There is a grocery store a couple of buildings away that you can buy the necessary shampoo and soap since the hotel does not provide one. Not a deal breaker considering the price of the room and it is in Zurich. Also there are two tram stop by the hotel which came super useful when one of the tram I was regularly using suddenly shut down service.

We stayed at the Radisson Hotel and Suites in Zurich, one of three Radisson Hotels. Be careful of that if you have a reservation and take a taxi from the airport. We had a rather unscrupulous taxi driver who took us to the wrong hotel, and took the roundabout way at that, fluffing the fare. The hotel is very clean, nicely set up and located just a few minutes walk from the tram. Getting around Switzerland by tram and train is so easy, once you get the hang of it. The room was roomy, but one always has to keep in mind that this is Europe, where things in hotels are generally smaller. You can only check in via kiosks in the lobby; not by a person. But overall, it is a very nice place to stay, a good base for exploring the country. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Nothing to fault - exceptional, clean, spacious and luxurious. Had a really comfortable stay here! Staff were on hand and had no problem with smoke detector, which had been raised as a concern in some of the previous reviews.

Most helpful Reception team. I had a few requests this morning, and they were all, especially Jasmine, Vladimir and Alejandro (team leader) very willing to help with anything. Polite and friendly, I will defintely return to this hotel and recommend it.

It was a wonderful and comfortable stay. We did not have any unpleasant experience at all. The hotel restaurant serves authentic Italian food. It is pricey, but understandable. It’s Switzerland. Everything is almost double the price if not all!
