Stayed at the Radisson for 3 nights in February. Our flight arrived late evening so we organised private boat to pick us up from airport. As this was our first time in Venice we had no idea where we would be dropped off or how we would have to walk. To our surprise, there was a boat stop directly outside the hotel. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, modern yet classic. We arrived just at 11pm which was bar closing time but staff were more than happy to open and serve us. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had 2 rooms and one room was given Prosecco and chocolates as a welcome present although this may have been an error by the booking company who noted one couple was celebrating an anniversary (maybe something to note to anyone booking in the future!). When they found out it was an error that arranged to provide Prosecco for the other room as well. Rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. One room was huge with bath and walk in shower and the other just a walk in shower but both very large. Breakfast was very nice - buffet of cereal, cold meats, pastries and juices etc plus choice of hot breakfast to order. Gym was more than adequate with state of the art TechnoGym treadmills and a sauna although never saw anybody else in there. Location was excellent with a ferry stop outside. Venice is not huge and we found ourselves walking around the city for 3 days. We tried many different restaurants along our way but found 2 of our favourites literally either side of the hotel (Alla Fontana and Trattoria Bar Pontini). I would highly recommend anybody staying at this hotel to try both. We booked our stay through Secret Escapes and got an absolute bargain (less than £800 for 3 nights Garden room with breakfast). Hotel was absolutely faultless and look forward to returning very soon
