I disagree strongly with some of the reviews on here. We had a lovely 3 night stay here in March at what is a beautiful hotel set in a splendidly looking building. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and engaging in all areas of the hotel. Keen to converse with you and make your stay pleasurable. The breakfast room is beautiful and the breakfast is one of the best we have ever had in a city break hotel. The whole breakfast experience is lovely and tranquil with the sound of the water feature in the centre of the room. The decor of the dining room really sets the atmosphere for a day exploring the ancient city of Rome. The location is ideal and immediately opposite the main train station and metro, and yes there was a little background noise you could hear in the room from the outside goings on here and there at times, but what do you expect if you want a hotel in one of the busiest and most convenient parts of the city!! It was very minor and certainly wasn't enough to affect a good nights sleep. The room was spacious and very clean and well maintained. Couldn't really fault anything to be honest.
Lovely hotel, clean, modern rooms. We did benefit from a wee cheeky room upgrade which was much appreciated as the trip was a present for my husband’s recent big birthday! Staff were friendly & nothing was too much trouble. Good basis to explore Rome Can’t comment on the food as didn’t eat in the hotel. Only one wee gripe, the bar didn’t re stock the Drambuie that we finished off on the first evening 🤣
I visited with my husband & son for my birthday & was blown away by the hotel & staff, in particular Chiara that arranged birthday cake & bottle of bubbles. The hotel is clean, modern & in a prime location to get around. The staff were polite & professional & really made our stay a memorable one. We can’t wait to visit again.
Booked for 4 nights for our special anniversary. This hotel is amazing. All the staff, reception and concierge were very accommodating, nothing was to much trouble. Room very clean, sometimes coming 3 times a day. Food is outstanding and restaurants staff very knowledgeable about the food and drink they were serving. We was up graded without us asking. They also provide us with a bottle of bubbly and chocolates for our special day. Spa and massage we would highly recommend. Great location to all the sights of interest. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be returning for sure.
The Radisson Palazzo Montemartini is a very good choice if you plan to visit Rome with your family as I did. It is close to Termini railway station (which saves you the expense of a taxi as you can reach the hotel from Fiumicino Airport by train), and all major attractions are within 30 min walking distance or 10 minutes by taxi. We booked rooms 106 and 107: they had a connecting door which was ideal for the family, and they were quiet, very clean and affordable considering we came during the Easter Weekend. Our package included a generous breakfast and access to a nice swimming pool. The staff at the reception was very friendly. Special compliments to Lucrezia, the guest experience coordinator. All in all, a positive experience!
