The Radisson Blu is in a great location. The AirPort Express bus stops outside the hotel, just across the street. Many of the tours also meet just outside the door. And it is a short stroll to the main shopping street, Storgata. The check in was easy with a friendly greeting by staff. The room is a standard size, not over large but comfortable for a few days when you will be out all day. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, good shower. The door does not lock immediately so when leaving tap your card key to lock it as you would when opening it. The gym is small but has enough for holiday exercise. Breakfast is very good, all the usuals and plenty of them. The room can get busy but tables turn over quickly enough. The coffee from the automatic machine is not particularly hot, we had to scald our cups with hot water before filling with coffee to get a moderate heat. Highly recommended

I stayed here for 2 nights on vacation. It is a bit pricey but so is most of Tromso so I think the rates are in line with the general costs of the area. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was quite nice, the rooms and the hotel itself were clean and the hotel and surrounding area are safe. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, great for airport, sea / Mountain View’s exceptional, great for coastal ships,etc,5 mins to terminal.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. We really appreciated the buffet breakfast. Variety of food so all in our party was satisfied. It was great way to start our day. We’d stay again.

Very clean, great rooms very central to everything in town. Would definatily stay there again. Breakfast is great.
