Super hotel with a deserved 5 star rating. My only negative comment would be the carpet in our suite could do with replacing, too many spilt wine stains. The suite itself was clean and large. There was no noise from other guests or from the outside. Without doubt every staff member was very friendly and efficient from the bar and restaurant staff to the guys handing out the towels. I would like to highlight Henri, Rose, Carol, Michelle and Sylvia from the breakfast room their speedy and efficient service and for advising our group on places to visit and where to eat whilst there. The breakfast was very good with a large selection. Bar food was excellent. Alcohol was not over priced as would be expected within a hotel.

We always enjoy our stay. The staff is very kind and accomodating. The food at breakfast and at the restaurants is always excellent. The hotel is very clean and the views are spectacular. We have been visiting the hotel for a number of years and have always enjoyed our stay. In fact we are due to return next month. The rooms are being upgraded and this will make everybody's stay even enjoyable.

It was a really good experience here. The sea is so beautiful, like a swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly and always smiling. I would like to see you again.

This place is excellent, wonderful location out of the busy goings on of the rest of the Island and right on the beach, great facilities and excellent restaurants.

My Sister and I had the most wonderful stay here we used to come as children with our parents every year when it was the Golden sands hotel and we came back together to relive old memories and also made new memories.. the hotel is wonderful and the food was a very high standard the best breakfast sausages I've had abroad !! Henri in the breakfast restaurant is the loveliest man from the minute he meets you he remembers you he is a credit to the hotel ... all the staff we absolutely 100% the day we arrived my sister had a medical issue which the hotel staff assisted with very well and even the following day I received a phone call from the reception asking how she was and if they could do anything to just ask we both felt the service was above and beyond... there was only one small disappointment that the beach we remembered that every night it was cleaned completely by a tractor type vehicle clearing any seaweed etc (this was 45 years ago mind) but the beach now is smaller and to enter the sea is full of rocks and stones and the edge of the sand full of seaweed fresh and dried .. we do understand this is nature and it did not spoil the holiday ... the pools are amazing and plenty of bars and snacks available round all the pools and beach ... we will definitely return ...
