  • "The perfect relaxing holiday."

  • All staff were professional and helpful. Approachable and friendly but knew when to leave you be to relax. Excellent recognition of the rewards scheme and we loved every moment. The complimentary electric car charging points made our stay so convenient, although I did not see this highlighted much on website. Breakfast selection was excellent with lots of restaurants within walking distance. One of the best Radisson experiences I've had.

  • Good morning, Stephanie - I am writing to let you know about our 8-day stay here at the hotel. But first, I must apologize for writing in English! My 'conversational’ French is good - but to write a long email in French would be a very long process - and would be full of grammatical errors! ;) My wife and I first stayed with here at the R-Blu during the opening week of the hotel, ten years ago. The landscaping and many parts of the construction was not even completed back then. But the visit was so fantastic that we promised that we would return. We ‘tried’ to return for the last three years - but the Covid pandemic made that impossible. So three years ago, we reserved...and each year would ask the hotel to ‘postpone’ our reservation for the next year…and the next year…and then, finally, we are here. I first visited Corsica almost 50 years ago when I was 16 years old - and have returned a few times since then. Corsica is a very special place for me. Lots of strong and positive memories…the beaches, the food and wines, the…’aroma’ of the Maquis…so many things that only ‘live’ here, en Corse…the Culture and personality of the island and the people... During the period when I was postponing year after year, I was emailing with Stephanie-Coralie…I think that was the name…but about a year ago, I began emailing with Nelly. SO MANY emails! So I come to my primary reason for writing to you now - Good hotels are all over the world…great hotels are as well…but a hotel is so much more than a ‘location’ or the amenities offered. For me, a wonderful experience has so much to do with the staff at the property; how they interact with the client, even before arrival…how they smile each morning at the registration desk…how the restaurant staff works with the guest. Literally every interaction has an impact (positive or negative) on how the guest ‘feels’; the guest experience. And for us, traveling from northern United States, this is very important…it is a LONG and expensive trip! From the moment that I first interacted with Nelly, I was treated with great understanding, consideration and patience…and humor! Nelly helped us postpone a few times and always communicated promptly and with all the information that I needed…over and over again…I admire her patience with people like me! She is absolutely fantastic and if it were not for Nelly, I might have made reservations somewhere else. I told Nelly that my wife Donna and I were going to return to ce

  • We stayed for a week in July in a family room with a fabulous view of Ajaccio Bay, The room was a good size and is one of the best designed family rooms I have ever stayed in. The two kids beds are small singles but well thought out with a little cubby hole for keeping books and an individual reading light. My kids liked having their own space to spend time in and read / play games. the room had a ton of storage space and easily swallowed all of our junk. the main bedroom was well designed, a small fridge and a nice comfortable double bed as well as a big TV. The highlight was the balcony, fantastic views of the beach, the bay and Ajaccio in the distance. the balcony got really warm in the afternoon but provided epic sunset views in the evening. All of us in the family liked the pool, and although it was busy it wasn’t intrusive and the kids had plenty of space to play. The pool has a neat horizon affect and was nice and warm. Food in the pool bar was good but expensive, the breakfast buffet was pretty decent but very busy at times, staff were all helpful and friendly. The hotel location is ok, there is a row of shops and restaurants next door to the hotel; of these the Cafe immediately next door is great, the restaurants were ok but pricey. My only other gripe was the intermittent and slow WiFi, not at all in keeping with what you expect to find in a chain hotel. the beach is a few steps from the front of the hotel, Ajaccio town is about half an hour away and there are loads of good beaches for swimming and snorkelling within half an hour. In an ideal world there would be less need to drive to find decent places to eat but this isn’t really the Hotel’s fault. I would definitely come back!
