Room tips

The coffee machine in the room was not in a convenient spot, and difficult to plug etc. Other than this I would say all perfect(Tini_Geneva)

Take extra hangers in case they haven't removed the shelf from the wardrobe and a travel iron if you don't know how to use a steamer.(Caldough)

London is mostly a cashless society. Make sure you have a working credit card. Make sure your IPhone has sufficient data.(Sandra P)

Great neighbourhood, Helen and Afroza were very nice at the reception. I was upgraded to one of the newly refurbished room, and it was spacious and very modern. All the staff hotel was very attentive and kind, and going out of their way to accommodate requests. A very nice hotel to stay for business meetings

"Excellent 1st stay here"

This is a hotel that we have looked into staying at for several years, but it has always been too expensive. We found a great deal for 1 night including breakfast recently and stayed there last night. The hotel has been refurbished/is being refurbished and looks very good. Check in was easy and welcoming and we were upgraded to a superior room, which was great. No views from the room, but it had everything you needed and more, including efficient air con. Bed was really comfy and pillows were neither gard nor soft. Cans of water supplied as a courtesy. Breakfast had a really good choice of food and chef would cook any eggs fresh at no extra charge. Ed the Concierge was very helpful. We will certainly consider the hotel for a future visit in the area.

"Great Hotel, Poor Wardrobe Space"

2026-06-18

This was thee second time I'd stayed in this hotel and it had just been refurbished. The standard of decor is high and it has been tastefully done. Rooms now have the addition of a small fridge and we were provided with two cans of water daily which was really useful as it was very hot during our stay. unfortunately the improvements meant that the wardrobe drop is now cut in two as the fridge is inside the wardrobe. The hanging space is only adequate for shirts/blouses. Luckily I had brought some of my own hangers which I used to hang dresses on the picture in the corner of the room. There is a table underneath the TV on the wall, I think the fridge could easily be placed under there and the hanging space could then be freed up for longer clothes. There is a steamer to remove creases from clothes but no instructions on how to use it. I would have preferred the iron and ironing board that was in my room on my first stay. Luckily I had taken my own travel iron so it wasn't an issue, but others may not. See photos. As we checked out we were asked what we thought of the refurbishment so I explained the issue with the wardrobe and fridge, the Receptionist said they would pass on my remarks, I hope they did. I forgot to mention the steamer issue. Other than that our stay was great. The breakfasts in a Radisson Blu are always excellent with great choices from fruit juice, cereals, pastries, cooked items and continental options you certainly won't go hungry! Sets you up great for a day sightseeing. The location is perfect. Seven Dials is an interesting area and only a short walk from Covent Garden, The Strand and the start of Oxford Street making it very easy to get around. If you've seen the film Last Christmas you'll be pleased to know that the garden used is Phoenix Gardens which is a two minute walk from the hotel. A lovely tranquil place to visit in the midst of a busy London area so nice to pop into even if you haven't seen the film.

"A Gem Of A Hotel"

Radisson Blu Mercer Street is located in the 7 Dials district within walking distance of Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square and National Gallery, the British Museum and the Covent Garden and Leicester Square Undergrounds. The hotel is nicely appointed and our king bedroom was large. The bed had good quality linens and towels. Amenities included a fridge, complimentary water bottles, free Wi-fi. a hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers and a good size TV. The in room safe easily fitted our laptop and digital SLR camera. There was an extensive buffet breakfast and the staff was friendly, helpful and always asked how our day was when we returned to the hotel. A special shoutout to the Night Manager Jude. Even before we got to the hotel he answered all our questions and he arranged for transportation from and to the hotel. He made sure our room was ready and available upon arrival. He made sure we were happy and he made sure my husband's 80th birthday was memorable. He even sent complimentary tea up to our room when he found out we were both suffering back pain. A remarkable man and great asset to this lovely hotel.

Hosted in the Conference facilities for a two day training event, we were so very well looked after by the staff team. Catering, technology, access and arrangements were on point. Thank you Dimi! We hope to visit again.
