  • This is possibly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. An unrivalled position on the waterfront overlooking St Aubin’s Bay to one side and the harbour with Elizabeth Castle in the background to the other. Check in was quick and polite. Staff very knowledgeable about the hotel and the island. Maps provided for planning. Our room on the 2nd floor overlooked the bay with its dramatic tides and beautiful sunsets. The room was large and well appointed with a small but practical bathroom. Bed was a super king - very comfortable with quality white bedding. There were some areas I.e. the bedside units which needed updating but were clean and functional. As we were here for 7 nights our towels were changed every two days. Staff who attended to the rooms were very pleasant and always greeted us as we passed. Plenty of hanging and drawer space. Tea/coffee etc were replenished daily but a small fridge was useful to keep water (provided) and fresh milk which we bought instead of using the small pots. An ice machine was available on each floor. A comfy chair and work desk with chair were useful for reading and planning how to see as much of beautiful Jersey as possible. The bar and restaurant were at the front of the hotel to take advantage of the views. A terrace for sitting outside was very popular on the nicer days. The food in both the restaurant and the bar was very good. Restaurant has a smaller menu which changes every few days but bar menu was extensive to suit most tastes. Sunday lunch was buffet style and excellent quality. Need to book when you arrive because the restaurant is very popular with local people. Breakfast suited all tastes - traditional full English supplemented with cold meats cheeses pastries fruit yoghurts and a bread station. Breakfast service could get quite busy but information about the quieter times available. Orders for pancakes and other items are taken separately. Food is appropriately priced but drinks were more expensive. The biggest advantage to this hotel is its staff. There are plenty of staff all of whom are pleasant and smiley. They constantly walk through the bars and restaurant taking orders and clearing tables promptly. We would definitely recommend the Raddison Blu Waterfront to everyone visiting Jersey and we will definitely be back for another visit.

  • Visited Jersey for the first time as a 60th birthday treat for my wife. I booked a panorama suite which gave us views over Elizabeth Marina and Elizabeth Castle. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a king size bed, and a seperate seating area with 90 degree views. The bed had a very heavy duvet on it which in the warmth of the week was a bit overkill, however this was changed on request after the first night for a much cooler one. The facilities of the hotel are excellent although we didn't make use of the leisure side of things such as the gym and the pool. We ate in the bar area on two nights and the experience was very good, with prompt service and tasty meals. Breakfast was buffet style, which suited us as we could pick and choose what we wanted and how much. We found that we generally had enough at breakfast to last us through the day!! Check in was very smooth, with a lot of information provided, and free parking was included for the duration of our stay. There was also free wi-fi which was surprisingly fast for a hotel. Housekeeping was very good with the room being well serviced and kept very clean. Any downsides? My wife is a tea-a-holic and I take more sugar than I should and it didn't seem to get through to housekeeping that the reason we were asking every evening was because there were never enough tea bags and sugar each day. We ended up taking some from the restaurant at breakfast to keep up with demand! The hotel, having a large selection of meeting areas, tended to get very crowded in the bar/breakfast/lounge areas, however there we always managed to find somewhere to sit. Is it value for money? The cost of the suite was probably not excessive for what was provided - I could have booked a cheaper room which would no doubt have been just as acceptable. What we paid for was the glorious views from the panoramic windows, the light spacious room and the excellent service received all over the hotel. Verdict. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Radisson, the accomodation, the staff, the facilities and the food were all of a high standard, and yes, when we go back to Jersey we will most likely stay there again.

  • The Waterfront is a lovely place to stay even with the current building activity in the area (which had no impact at all on our enjoyment of the Radisson). Great location. Great place to walk from. Easy on site parking if you have a car. Gym looks good and the pool/sauna/steam are very pleasant to use (not huge and could get busy in theory but we were never unable to enjoy them when we needed). There’s a bit of a price premium on the hotel so look out for deals if you are on a more limited budget but otherwise I would definitely recommend considering a stay here.

  • Lovely hotel, reception staff very helpful, we booked a room with a fridge in it , on arrival we noticed there was no fridge in the room. Went to reception & they immediately moved us to a room with a fridge. Couldn’t fault the service.

  • Lovely hotel! The reception was nice and clean! I’m pleased with the staff and treatment I got. Lovely idea to put lemon water, fruits and cookies on the little console table at the corner of the reception. My son loved the cookies there. Cecelia, super kind and friendly lady at front desk. Patrick at the restaurant served us nicely and was so kind and friendly. Everyday Clean and tidy room. Which I loved and pleased with. Complained about Bathroom not draining properly when we got there but was later fixed. I liked my overall experience. Yummy prawn meal I enjoyed as well. Late checkout no extra charges! Thank you
