This hotel is slightly out from the main centre of Gothenburg, but definitely worth the tram ride. All staff from receptionists, Bar tenders, and housekeeping were all so friendly and helpful and advised where to get trams etc. They were very knowledgeable in all their own departments. The room was excellent - Really funky vibe and cool! They were so clean, and had a great Marshall speaker to listen to music on. I was given recognation for a being a VIP Radisson rewards memebr - very much appreciated,

I had a great time at Radisson Blu, the only thing was that the room was cold, couldn’t get the hang of the heating system! The staff could be a lil bit more enthusiastic too!!

My family and I stayed at this hotel for a week in August 2025. My wife and daughter were in Gothenburg (Göteborg) for a workshop while I was there to explore the city and the Gothenburg Archipelago. The Radisson was an ideal location for all of us. Although it’s separated from central Gothenburg by the Göta älv River, a short, free ferry ride from a nearby ferry dock will take you to Stenpiren where you can walk, take trams, or buses to any point in the city itself. There is also a bus stop on the university campus adjacent to the Radisson that provides alternative access the city. The staff at the hotel were professional and welcoming. The rooms are clean and very quiet, the beds are very comfortable, the showers provide hot water with excellent pressure, and the curtains completely blocked out the light of the summer sun. We initially planned on eating elsewhere, but the breakfast offerings were impossible to resist (we ended up eating breakfast there every day). Saunas, hot tub, workout room, a rooftop lounge that offers a fantastic view of the city, and little touches throughout the hotel that appeal to science geeks (the lights in the main restaurant form a Newton’s Cradle). A wonderful location to stay in when you’re in Gothenburg.
