I have been staying at this Radisson Blu, Faridabad, India, for nearly a month, and overall, my experience has been very good. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the staff (in general) are efficient and helpful, and the food throughout my stay has been par excellence. On New Year’s Eve, in-house guests were informed that dinner would be served on the 1st floor, as the main restaurant was reserved for New Year’s Eve guests who were paying for the celebration. This arrangement was completely understandable and not an issue at all. However, the real disappointment was the quality of food served to in-house guests that evening. There was a very noticeable and marked difference between the food being served in the main restaurant and what was offered to us upstairs. The quality was clearly substandard compared to the consistently high standards maintained throughout my stay. When this was pointed out and a complaint was made, the situation was unfortunately made worse by the attitude and handling of the matter by the manager, Mr. Jai. His response and demeanor were absolutely uncalled for and entirely contrary to what one expects from a brand like Radisson. Instead of addressing the concern professionally, the interaction left us feeling unheard and disrespected. What should have been a pleasant New Year’s Eve turned out to be a rather disastrous experience and left a bad taste, both literally and otherwise. It was particularly disappointing because it stood in sharp contrast to an otherwise comfortable and enjoyable long-term stay. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that in-house guests are never made to feel secondary, especially on an occasion as important as New Year’s Eve.
