beautiful hotel with perfect location just over the river from the bars which we were going to. very friendly staff on check in, lovely room and upgrade for being guest of the week! would definitely be returning

Stayed in a standard room, area is quiet with lovely walks, fast access to the town and railway station (beware it's up a big hill). The small swimming pool inside the hotel is nice but there's a larger council run one just across the bridge too. The restaurant is nice, breakfast is lovely. The staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful.

Myself and 3 daughters had booked the Radisson as part of my daughter’s 40th birthday celebrations. We had an exceptional stay. We couldn’t fault it. All the staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. We were upgraded to the large suites on the 4th floor..these were amazing. Breakfast had an excellent choice, staff again were lovely. We had a couple of hours In the spa then had afternoon tea. We had a wonderful stay and will certainly stay again. A big shout out to Stacie who went above and beyond to make our stay even more pleasurable. We never saw her without a smile, such a lovely lady.

My wife and I booked the Radisson Blu for two nights. We were joined by two Friends , from different parts of the Country , who also booked Rooms in the Hotel during our stay. All very smooth and efficient . We had a River View Room on a Room Only basis. Our Friends had similar accommodation arrangements , but they also booked Breakfast. Hotel is clean and modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful . The Rooms were comfortable , spacious and well-appointed. Nice and quiet. Pleasant location by the River. Had several drinks at various times in the Bar area near Reception. Good Services was encountered at all times. We had a lovely short break / mini reunion. The hotel was impressive and we all would fully endorse a big thumbs-up ! I would return if visiting Durham again.

The stay we have recently had at the Radison Blue in Durham has been exceptional The service at the front desk was above and beyond, the room was a penthouse suite room 411 it was fantastic. The evening meal was great The breakfast was superb, the Breakfast supervisor greeted us and was exceptional in helping us etc The food on offer was fantastic the scrambled egg was very fresh fantastic choice of items and the staff went out for their way to assist. It was very well run for a very busy breakfast service. Having worked in hospitality hotels for 15 years this is the best I have ever seen a breakfast service ran. Thanks again
