The pool was cold & very busy all the time. Go early.There is a local leasure centre huge pool less than 5 mins walk over the river bridge. (Mags A)

Fantastic stay here in Durham. Great room with a spectacular river view and lovely breakfast served by Grazina (Graz). Would definitely recommend and we will be back!! 😀

Lovely stay, this hotel has the best team of staff, every one is helpful and kind, extremely good service. Special mention to Graz (Graziana) in the restaurant, she is extremely helpful and kind, and a credit to the hotel.

Came here for my mother and sister's birthday celebration, with an afternoon tea before getting massages. Through the afternoon tea we were served by Nurie, she is wonderful and was cheerful despite having to run around after customers. Amazingly friendly and talkative, wonderful customer service. Personally, I think we should make her the new prime minister.

Came for spa day and afternoon tea. We had the best time thanks to Nurie! She made us feel so welcome and took very good care of us. Thanks Nurie! Afternoon tea was very good, including gluten free options.

"1 night work stay - breakfast was fresh"

I stayed for one night and had a really great experience. Jordan, Nurie and Charlotte were all brilliant throughout breakfast, really welcoming. Everything felt well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. the food was fresh and well presented, which set the day off perfectly. Thank you to the whole team for making the stay so enjoyable. I’d happily return.
