"Always a nice stay"

Stay here often for work. Lovely hotel located by the river with good size, affordable, clean and tidy rooms. Staff are always smiling and polite. Was greeted at reception this time by Scarlett who was lovely and happy. Even though near the town centre and the bar is busy you don't hear any noise from the bedrooms. Evening meal is always nice and decent range of breakfast items (though both little pricy). 5 minute walking distance from the town where there is the castle and cathedral and loads of lovely eateries. Recommend anyone to stay.

"Always a perfect stay"

Room was perfect as always. Staff were friendly and always professional. This visit was for our anniversary and what a lovley touch to find a card and banner in our room wishing us a happy anniversary.

"Excellent value for money with excellent service"

Breakfast and dinner both excellent. Good range of breakfast options and space to sit. Didn’t feel over crowded like some. Dinner options were good for both vegetarian and non vegetarians. Beautifully presented flavourful food Service was excellent , polite and professional . Value for money good as well.

I stay fairly regularly at the hotel and I always receive excellent service. I must mention Jordan especially as he always goes above and beyond to provide an outstanding service, and more importantly always goes the extra mile to ensure that my stay is as good as it can be. The hotel’s management are lucky to have him on the team.
